Edible Abstraction was a course I took throught "Fibre Arts Take Two" taught by artist Nicola Bennett in August 2025.
What a powerful and enriching addition to my artistic practice! I've also long been fascinated by neurogastronomy; the interplay of sensory perceptions that create memorable experiences through food. This course elevated that fascination in profound ways. The connections between taste, sight, sound, memory, and creativity were explored in ways that deepened my artistic exploration.
